Transcription factors of the nuclear factor κB (NF-κB)/Rel family play a pivotal role in inflammatory and immune responses . NF-kappa-B is a homo- or heterodimeric complex formed by the Rel-like domain-containing proteins RELA/p65, RELB, NFKB1/p105, NFKB1/p50, REL and NFKB2/p52 and the heterodimeric p65-p50 complex appears to be most abundant one. Acetylation at Lys-310 is required for full transcriptional activity in the absence of effects on DNA binding and NFKBIA association. Acetylation can also lower DNA-binding and results in nuclear export.

I chose Abbkine NFκB-p65 (Acetyl Lys310) Polyclonal Antibody to stain NF-κB p65 murine peritoneal tumour cells by Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections). Tissue was fixed with paraformaldehyde and blocked with 1% BSA for 60 minutes at room temperature. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/1000) for 2 hours. IFKineTM Green Donkey Anti-Rabbit IgG was used as the secondary antibody. The target was stained and no background. In a word, everything goes well.
